What are the fees associated with an Embark account?

Embark aims to keep investment fees relatively low and waive any additional recurring fees when you manage your account online—the easiest and simplest way to manage your Embark account.

There is a low annual fee of 0.20% of your total savings in order to keep your account running and an annual investment fee (ranging from 0.2% to 0.654% of your total savings) based on the investment portfolios you’ve selected.

There are some additional service-based fees, as follows:

• Rollovers / Transfers out of plan: $25
• ACH fail / Returned checks: $20
• Paper account statements (annual, per account owner): $10 *this fee is currently being waived
• Overnight check or statements delivery: $15
• Reissuing checks: $15
• Outgoing wires: $15
