Receiving gift contributions with Embark.

You don’t need to save for your kid’s future all by yourself, especially since every Embark account has its own gifting page with a unique URL. So when friends and family ask what presents your kid wants for the holidays, just share your Embark gifting link with them. They can contribute online in just a few clicks — no forms, paper checks, or snail mail required!

How to find and share your gifting page:

  1. Log in to your Embark account. If you don’t have one yet, you can open an account in a few simple steps.
  2. Select “Manage” in the bottom left corner of the gifting tile on your dashboard.
  3. From there, you can find your unique URL to share, customize your gift contribution goal, update your allocation choices, and view gifting activity online at any time.
  4. Share the URL directly with your loved ones via text, email, or social media.
  5. When loved ones send a gift to your account, you’ll get an email confirmation letting you know a contribution has been made.

Making gift contributions with Embark.

Gifting with Embark is a thoughtful way to support a child’s future this holiday season. While toys and candy are fun, a small gift toward their education savings can help their dreams grow. Plus, it shows you believe in their potential. And when you contribute regularly, your gifts can really help their savings add up. If they already have an Embark account, you can contribute to it in just a few clicks through their custom gifting page.

How to send a gift contribution online:

  1. If you don’t have it yet, ask your loved one to share the URL to their Embark gifting page.
  2. Tap on the link and click “Make a contribution.”
  3. Add your banking details, the gift amount, your name, and your contact information.
  4. Click “complete” to finalize your contribution. Then, you’ll get a gift confirmation email for your records.

How to create a gifting profile.

Managing your gift contributions just got even easier. With a gifting profile, you can save your contact and banking information, track your gifts in one convenient dashboard, and simplify future contributions. Whether you’re giving regularly or contributing to multiple Embark accounts, a gifting profile keeps everything organized in one place.

To set up your gifting profile, just tap on your loved one’s Embark gifting page, click “Make a contribution,” and then “Create a gifting profile.” From there, just add your banking details and information, and complete a gift contribution. Next, you’ll be prompted to create your gifting profile login, and verify your email.

How to send a one-time gift contribution.

If digital contributions aren’t your thing, you can always mail one! Just fill out a Gift Form (PDF) and mail it with a check to Embark. You’ll need the name of the account holder, the beneficiary, and their Embark account number to complete the form. When the gift contribution is finished processing, your loved one will receive an email letting them know someone sent them a gift.

Opening an Embark account as a gift.

Parents aren’t the only people who can open an Embark account for their kid. So if the child in your life doesn’t have one yet, don’t worry. Grandparents, family members, and friends can start saving too. As long as you’re a U.S. citizen or resident and have a valid Social Security number or tax ID, you can open an Embark account.

How to create an account for the kid in your life:

  1. Visit Embark’s online portal to get started.
  2. Provide some basic info about yourself, including your name, contact info, date of birth, and Social Security number or tax ID.
  3. Then, provide the same info about your beneficiary.
  4. Connect your bank account, choose your investments, and fund your account with an initial deposit of at least $25.

Saving (and gifting) with Embark is a meaningful way to invest in the child in your life. Give a gift that grows with them, supports their future, and shows them you believe in all they can become. Start saving for their tomorrow, today.
